My Office Makeover

I’m so excited to share with you the transformation of my {Boss Babe} office space! We moved into this house about 10 months ago. The master bedroom is a very nice size and I’ve had this great wall that has been wide open and just asking for some decorating. I am typically a minimal decor kind of person. Clutter gives me anxiety and I typically like clean open counters and spaces. But, I knew that I wanted to dress up the area a little and have a space that I could call my own.
I do most of my makeup and hair tutorials sitting at the vanity. Oftentimes if I want to blog or work on emails, I will come and sit here and use the vanity as a desk as well. There have been MANY times that my master bedroom is the last to get cleaned. It’s the room that you throw things into when company is coming over and you want the rest of the house to be picked up. BUT I have worked really hard lately to try and keep our master bedroom CLEAN and CLUTTER FREE. I envision the room being a retreat that I can walk into, somewhere you can walk in and just take a deep breath. Sometimes momma needs 5 minutes to herself, and it helps for me to have a nice space set up to do it.
So for the color scheme – I chose blush, white marble, and gold accents. I have been obsessed with blush and gold for the longest time. When I started this blog a year ago – that’s the color theme that I went with. When buying hair products from L’ange, I always pick the blush option. When choosing makeup palettes, I am obsessed with all things BLUSH PINK!
I decided to extend that color scheme from my computer to my office space. Here’s the before.

Here’s the after!!

What do y’all think? I found the hexagon shelving here.
My ring lights can be found here: Large, medium, small.
Mirror is from Home Goods.
And the shelving on the left is a DIY project that I got to complete pretty much BY MYSELF. (Yes hubs even let me operate his miter saw.)

I will probably go into more detail on the shelving DIY process in another post, but for now we can just focus in on some of the fun details!

These next few pieces on my shelves represent some big parts of my Younique journey. The black box on the very top shelf is what my {presenter kit} arrived in 3 years ago. It means so much to me, and represents the door that was opened to this new life of confidence, courage, and the empowerment to start up this blog and share with you all on a daily basis. It represents a chapter, a journey, and one of the best feelings of BELONGING that I have ever felt.

This little shadowbox of charms are the “Achievments” that I have received with this company. They sure know how to spoil us presenters, and recognize dedication and hard work.

And finally, here is a sneak peek at the rest of my bedroom. Because, if you are like me, you see one corner of it and think, well what does the rest of the space look like?! I want more!

What is your favorite part of this space? Thanks for reading and Happy Saturday!!
