Blogger Babes Party At Organically Bath & Beauty

This weekend the San Antonio Blogger Babes chapter celebrated their 1 year anniversary. I was thrilled to be able to attend the event as a fairly new member. I joined this group of women, just a short while ago in August, but already feel so “at home” with these amazing ladies.

The event was held at Organically Bath & Beauty, in San Antonio. This was my first visit to this business and I was so impressed with how cute their store was set up, and how great the products are. The owner was onsite, and was able to tell us a little bit about their history, and mission of the company. They create all organic bath and beauty products, free from any chemicals, parabens, etc. They offer bath bombs, soaps, body scrubs and lotions, men’s products, and candles, just to name a few. This location also has a room in the back to rent out for events, and they offer classes to make your own products to take home. How fun is that?! In offering these classes the owner wishes to coney the fact that you can have these wonderful products, and you don’t HAVE to add a million unnecessary ingredients to it. Simple, natural, and still effective.

During our party we got to hang out and visit together, shop at the store, and enjoy some snacks and drinks. We got to take home a beautifully curated swag bag, courtesy of the following sponsors.

Each of the girl’s got to share their story of “why” they joined the Blogger Babes, and talked a little bit about their own blogs. This was only my second event to attend, so I really loved getting to know the girls, and hear their stories. The whole mission behind our group at it’s core — is SUPPORT. It’s something I am so passionate about myself, to uplift and validate other women, so I feel like I hit the jackpot in finding this group of women who feel the same way. I couldn’t be in a better place. Jennifer, our chapter leader, got to share a little about the group as well, and share how it’s grown from just 4 members at it’s start, to about 60 ladies now. The growth and places we are going after just 1 year is SO awesome to see. If you are a blogger, influencer, or just a woman who posts on social media and wants to hang out with other women who are doing the same thing as you, I encourage you to look up a chapter in your area, you won’t regret it! I can’t wait to grow alongside this group, and I’m already looking forward to the fun events we have planned this upcoming year.
