Fasting Friendly Cold Brew Recipes

Recently, a friend of mine introduced me to a new drink at Starbucks, and I literally fell in love with it. Are you on the cold brew coffee train? I recently have jumped on the train, and now can’t find myself getting off of it. (Ha!) Have you tried the Cinnamon Almond Milk Cold Brew at Starbucks? Sooo good. Apparently they have multiple varieties of this “cold foam” over a “cold brew”. (Yes, I realize I may be late to the party.)

Anyways, I found myself craving this drink during the week, and while I would love to just run over to Starbucks, that is just not practical. I live about 25 mins away from the nearest one, so I started to think of how I could recreate this drink at home. I have figured it out y’all. AND guess what, Faster Way clients, I made it fasting friendly! (Cue the praise hands.) Continue reading for my directions on how to whip up these fasting friendly coffee recipes in your own home! You’ll only need to grab a few things to have on hand, and you’ll be making delicious coffees in no time.

Here are the ingredients & tools you will need

FIRST: You will need your favorite cold brew coffee. (I love Chameleon Cinnamon Vanilla & also Stok Unsweetened). If you are trying to keep this fasting friendly, make sure you have no added sugars or sweeteners in your cold brew.

SECOND: You will need nutpods coffee creamers. (Continue reading for recipe flavors to determine which flavors you would like to try!) You can order nutpods straight from their website here, and use my coupon code TINASCHOENFELDT to save 15% off your order. Shipping is quick & FREE. You can also order on Amazon, or find in your local grocery store! They literally have every perfect flavor to recreate some of the popular Starbucks combos! To see why I love nutpods creamers, be sure to check out this blog post here.

THIRD: You will need a decent milk frother! I use & love this one from Zulay Kitchen (on Amazon), it works great, the company has great customer service, and hello, it’s only $14, holla!

FOURTH: If you would like a touch of sweetness to your coffee (and still keep it fasting friendly), you will need some pure Stevia drops. I use these! (Also on Amazon, are you seeing a trend here?)

How to make these coffees

These creations are super simple & quick to make.
Start with 6-8 oz of cold brew over ice.
Froth 2 tbsp of nutpods creamer with 2-4 drops of Stevia.
Pour over coffee & enjoy!

That’s it y’all! I created combinations with the Cinnamon Swirl (with sprinkled cinnamon on top), Pumpkin Spice (with added pumpkin pie spice on top), Classic Chocolate, and Salted Caramel (caramel creamer with Himalayan salt on top). Seriously so good!
