Watching the teams make La Vernia history, surrounded by family and friends who came out to support, has been such an incredible joy. 💙 It’s bittersweet to see the season come to an end, but our hearts are so full. CLEARED FOR SPORTS 🙏🏻🙌🏻 After 3 months CLEARED FOR SPORTS 🙏🏻🙌🏻 After 3 months of rest and physical therapy, Wyatt’s doctor gave him the clear to return to sports. His knee has progressively gotten stronger over the past few months, and we are so grateful that he did not end up needing surgery. Praising God for His healing and so thankful for the amazing care Wyatt has received from his doctor and trainers. ❤️ • I’m also so proud of Wyatt for his patience and for keeping his head up despite missing out on his entire freshman football season. It’s hard to watch your kid not be able to do what he loves, but it makes me even prouder of the character and resilience this journey has built in him. • Next up — baseball season. ⚾️ Love you Bub! ❤️
It’s GAME DAY! 💙🏈 one of my favorite thing It’s GAME DAY! 💙🏈 one of my favorite things to see in a game is of course our girl on the sideline… but when the crowd gets so loud they have to turn around and see what’s happening 😄 that’s priceless. • The energy of our playoff games has been 🔥 and I’m so proud to live in a community that knows how to SHOW UP for our kids. My friend @southtexasesthetician convinced me to stop and snap a pic, and I’m so glad we did! Thank you @bellamiguraa for the 📸. ✨ • Growing our own food is one of my biggest joys, but if you’re not there yet, the next best thing is supporting local farmers and knowing where your food comes from. There’s nothing better than fresh, local produce grown with care. 💚
Cozy up with this one-pot lasagna soup recipe 🥣 Cozy up with this one-pot lasagna soup recipe 🥣✨ • This rich, flavorful, gluten-free, and dairy-free twist on lasagna is perfect for chilly nights and holiday gatherings. It’s quick, hearty, and a total family favorite. ❤️ Here’s how you can make it: Ingredients: •1 lb ground beef •1 onion, diced •Salt and pepper to taste •1 tbsp Italian seasoning •1 jar marinara sauce (@mezzetta is my absolute favorite—fresh, homemade taste with no sugars or artificial ingredients!) •4 cups chicken broth •8 sheets gluten-free lasagna noodles, broken into pieces •2 cups kale, chopped •Fresh parmesan and basil for garnish (optional) Instructions: 1️⃣ Sauté the ground beef and onion in a large pot until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. 2️⃣ Pour in marinara sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. 3️⃣ Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until al dente. 4️⃣ Stir in chopped kale and let simmer until wilted. 5️⃣ Garnish with fresh parmesan and basil, if desired.
