Life Update
HI friends! I am typing to you from my kitchen table, however my kitchen table is in a new HOUSE! YES! Life lately has been a little crazy! I wanted to take a minute and share this life update with you, and also share that I will be pausing my cooking shows for the next 3 weeks. Filming will resume the week of the 26th! I will miss you for sure, but I decided I need to allow myself this space to regroup and put my life (and kitchen) back together. 😅

So for those of you who follow along social, you probably saw my announcement that we were moving. If not, you can see that post below.
After I posted that, 1 week later (this past Friday) we received the keys to an AMAZING rental right here in our hometown, and also got news that we could move up our closing date on the sale of our home if we wanted to. That lit the fire under us to get moving right away! Yesterday we started the process of moving, and excited to share that we are about 80% moved in.
Our new rental home is just perfect for our family. We went into this journey knowing that it would take faith and the Lord ordering our steps, and He continues to amaze us. The timing for everything has been perfect. We will close on the sale of our home soon, and for now we are going to really enjoy getting settled in to our new home!
what’s next?
Our dream is to be able to find a little bit more property with space for the kids to run, play, hunt, and fish. We would love to find a home that needs some work or updating, or property that we can build on. My hubby is a very talented general contractor, he manages some pretty incredible projects, but he also can build ANYTHING himself. He started out his career as a trim carpenter, and has learned how to build an entire home from the ground up, in his 18 years of experience. Projects don’t scare us, and it’s been so fun to put our love and work into each home that we have lived in so far. We always leave the home better than we found it, and hope to continue that path with our next place. Our faith leads us, and God has never steered us wrong.
I am excited to keep you updated with our journey, and will talk with you soon! For now, I need to go tackle some of these boxes. XOXO
