Ithaca Hummus Review

HI y’all! I am so excited to share this post with you today. If you’ve been around my Insta stories any amount of time — you’ve probably seen me share about my favorite hummus brand. Ithaca hummus is hands down THE BEST hummus I’ve ever tasted, and their company is just plain amazing as well. Ithaca sent me a box of their newest flavor to try out and share with y’all, but I assure you. My feelings of love are 10000% my own. 🙂 Continue reading for my Ithaca hummus review!

What makes Ithaca different

For me, the beauty of this hummus is the SIMPLICITY of the ingredients. As a Faster Way coach, I share lots of nutrition advice, and teach my clients to try and stick to whole foods most of the time. What is a whole food? It is is defined as “coming from the ground or having a mother.” In other words, if God put it on this green earth, it’s fair game. Ithaca was obviously man MADE, but if you look at the ingredients list, it is full of ALL natural, God – given ingredients. No preservatives, no sugars, no artificial ingredients that I can’t pronounce. It’s beautifully whole and healthy.

The newest flavor

Ithaca’s newest flavor is called Everyone Bagel. (Similar to an Everything Bagel). This new flavor is packed with good tasting flavors, and is SO delicious. This brings the total flavor options for Ithaca to NINE tasty variations. My top favorites are the Lemon Dill, Lemon Garlic, Buffalo Ranch, and Everyone Bagel now tops the list too!

Hummus for a cause

You know how I mentioned the company itself is just as incredible as their product? The employees at Ithaca have always been so sweet to personally work with, and with this newest flavor they’ve announced a special giving back campaign. For every package of Everyone Bagel sold, they will be pledging 5 cents to those in need. They’ve committed the first $20,000 to help Common Threads bring nutrition education programs to under-resourced families across the country – but this is only the beginning. You can head to their website to nominate a local or national nonprofit in need of financial support.
