2021 Word Of The Year
Hey friends! Can you believe it is the FIRST day of 2021??? Honestly, the last half of 2020 seemed to fly by. All of these big dates keep sneaking up on me! When I realized that my regularly scheduled blog post would be landing on the first day of the year, I thought it would be a great time to reflect on this past year, and the word that I claimed for 2020, as well as share what word I will be choosing for 2021.

I have been choosing these words for the past few years, and honestly have shared that somehow these words find me. More than I find them. I shared in this post, and this post, how I chose my words.

2020 Recap
The word FLOURISH & 2020 may seem like an oxymoron. Virus. Pandemic. Total and absolute chaos. This year brought plenty of struggles. But when I reflect on 2020, and the actual definition of the word: to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, I can absolutely say that the word was fulfilled in my life this past year. I spent the entire year living the Faster Way lifestyle, and I am constantly grateful for the opportunity to not only participate in this program myself, but also teach & lead clients in this lifestyle also. I am grateful for the chance to flourish, in spite of the current state of the world. And if there’s anything that 2020 taught me, it’s that I am even more passionate and fired up about sharing health & wellness to all of you here.
2021 Word Of The Year
So what’s the word bird??? My 2021 word of the year is FOCUS. I have been mulling over this word for the last month or so, and know that it’s a trait I am wanting to lean into & develop this year. I have been giving a huge responsibility in my job as a Faster Way coach, and health & wellness influencer in this space, and I want to do those jobs more than well. My downfall as a creative & a dreamer, is the fact that I can get so caught up in the dream, and the ideas, that I have a hard time reining it back in and FOCUSING on what is in front of me. I am admitting that struggle to all of you here, and hope to come back on January 1, 2022 with a good report for you on the FOCUS I can bring to my businesses.
So what now?
To my Lord & savior Jesus Christ: I devote my focus and attention to you first and foremost. I commit to spending time in the word & prayer every single day, because I know without the Lord, I cannot do anything.
To my family: my goal this year is to run my business more effectively, and develop the focus needed to be able to devote my attention to you all more. You deserve a mama who is present, in the moment, and not scattered 800 directions.
To all of my past, current, and future clients: my focus is on YOUR SUCCESS. I plan to serve you with the highest level of excellence that I can, and provide as much resources, accountability, and help that I can to make sure you succeed.
To all of my brand partnerships: my focus is to serve your brands with authenticity and excellence. I have carefully chosen each brand partnership, and you can believe that if I am committing to work with you, I believe in your company, mission, and product, and will do my best to share it with the world.
To my friends, supporters, and audience here in this space. I am eternally grateful for you! It is truly an honor, and I am humbled to have been able to develop a JOB right from my home, serving all of you in this virtual space. I am excited to head into 2021, and I hope that you have a WONDERFUL day & a VERY happy new year as well.
