Cozy Blanket — Silly Name

When I was first approached by this company to feature a product review on their kit, I was unsure what to think. In complete transparency I thought “Fart Blanket”? There’s no way I am going to talk about farts on my blog…Is this a JOKE? I mentioned it to my husband though, and he seemed all to eager to hear what they were about. There are a few men in our family who are definitely not shy about the fact that they can clear out a room with the smell. This box sounded right up their alley.
Here is what we learned about the company. It is a husband and wife team who wanted to come up with a fun and unique White Elephant Gift during Christmastime. The “Dutch Oven Kit” blanket in a box was formed.
The product is funny, the blanket is a nice quality, and the price point is at less than $30, and it ships for free! Their goal is for people to get a good laugh AND a nice blanket.
When the box arrived at my home, the kids were the first ones to see the outside of the box. A FART BLANKET MOM?! WE WANT TO SEE! (My son in particular.)
The three year old kept giggling because of the repeated use of the word “fart” in our home for the next 24 hours.
As a blanket hoarder myself, I was very impressed with the softness and quality of the blanket. It is a nice, LARGE size, 60×80 inches, which is perfect because you know, mom’s rarely get any personal space to themselves. My blankets ALWAYS get stolen. They have 5 colors to choose from, tan, dark green, light green, sand, and grey (which I chose). I love the grey color, it coordinates perfectly with both my bedroom color scheme, and the living room couch.
Included with the soft and cozy blanket, is the “funny” side of the gift. A recipe card for “creating the perfect Dutch oven”, a couple stickers, and a business card.
Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by how great this little kit is. I’ve been chatting with my family and a few friends, and everyone I talk to has said “I would TOTALLY buy one of those!” Christmas is only 4 short months away. You can get your white elephant gift locked down now, or perhaps get your gift for that hard to buy for relative!
