My Grace Is Sufficient
Complete transparency here. Yesterday I was in a mood. The {May Mom} mentality is creeping it’s way in. The kids are ready for summer, and I find myself feeling a little more tired, a little overwhelmed, and snoozing my alarm a little bit longer each morning. Same routine, every single day.
When I find myself getting caught up in these feelings, I am reminded that I need to be turning to the Lord for strength.
Some praise music and time in my bible reading led me here. {“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9}
I’m sharing to encourage my fellow mommas.
You are not a strong mom because you don’t have weaknesses. You are a strong mom because you can show your children that in your weakness HE is strong. Show your kids HIS strength.
Get out of bed, make those lunches, sit in that car line, whatever it is you are facing…Jesus has already stood in the gap and is winning your battles for you.
THAT alone every day is something to be forever grateful for.
It’s laborious to seek out knowledgeable folks on this topic, but you sound like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
