First, you want to make your lavender simple syrup. Pour 2 cups boiling water over your sugar and lavender. Stir to combine, then cover and let sit for 1 hour. (Allow more time for a stronger lavender flavor.)
Strain lavender syrup into a pitcher, using a fine mesh strainer. Add the lemon juice, and remaining 4 cups of water, and mix well.
Garnish with mint leaves, serve over ice, and enjoy!
