Dinner This Week

Hi friends! First of all, THANK YOU for all of the kind words and support last week as I launched my new cooking show. It was SO much fun to cook dinner with you, and I am excited to talk about episode 2. For dinner this week, after a majority vote on social, we will be making copy cat PF Chang’s chicken lettuce wraps! In case you missed it, you can read about my new series here.

I have used this 40 aprons recipe a few times, and it has turned out amazing every time. Most of the items for this recipe are very easy to find, and I keep most of them stocked in my pantry. I do get asked quite a bit about coconut aminos though, so I wanted to highlight what it is and why it’s a good one to keep in your cabinet!

Coconut aminos is a substitute for soy sauce. Traditional soy sauce is made with soybean, wheat, and a lot of salt. It can be very inflammatory, plus if you have a gluten allergy, you obviously would not be able to use it. Coconut Aminos tastes very similar, is soy free and gluten free, and has a lot less sodium. For me, it’s one of those easy swaps to make if you are wanting to live a healthier lifestyle.
